Outside of house...

So, we need our outdoor light fixtures for the columns, the front doors and I am not sure about shutters or not. Then we are done with the front view. The inside while trudging along still has a lot of finish out to be done.

Surprise...

Geromi helped her with her spelling the first time and then she made my card. She can write more words now than I can keep track of. These are the things that I will save forever. Thank you so much my loves. Thank you Geromi for making my day extra special!

Pro dance pics from B's recital...

The first pic was the photographer catching B checking her lipstick during dress rehersal break. During intermission and before the start of recital they did a slideshow of the dancers and B checking her lips made the show. A girl and her lipstick!!!

The second is their tutu's hung after practice and is just such a great artsy piece. It is going on canvas and will be in B's ballerina bedroom room!

Guess who swallowed a coin

Brenna is now officially a piggy bank (or at least for a couple of days).

I thought a 4 year old could be trusted to "count" coins. Guess we learned our lesson!

Cozy new reading spot...

If you think for one second that Brenna is going to hear a camera go off and not be in the picture. Well, you just dont know B very well, now do ya!

Outside stone is complete...

We have about a month left. Painters are coming Monday to finish the stucco and start on the inside. Picking out paint for the inside has been my least favorite part. Saturday Geromi and I are getting a sitter and we are off to pick out granite (I gave in), finish lighting and tile.
There will be no more inside pics. We have decided that if we dont post them we will have more company coming to see us once we move in!

Weekend at the lake

We spent the weekend at the lake at Papas house. It was so much fun!!! We had a suprise baby shower for Aunt Christie and Uncle Walker. We had cousin Sinjins bday party and a slumber party at cousin Jacksons house. It was a great time! All the cousins were together which is rare so I took advantage of the camera time. Here are some pics of our gang loving the water! Both kids loved the boat and lil Brenna even decided that tubing may be her new favorite thing. Enjoy...

Happy 4th of July

Just thought I would post a pretty fireworks picture for those of you living in a burn ban area like us! No fireworks here this year because of the drought.

So, this is as good as it gets! Happy 4th!

Computer time

During computer time this morning Brenna asked Gage to come and sit by her. They proceeded to do 30 minutes of computer games together perfectly! It was Mickey so Gage loved it. It was 30 minutes of quiet so Geromi and I loved it too!

We were able to sit and get uninterrupted coffee time. That is unheard of in this house.

A princess and her castle

Today was the first day Brenna was able to see her room "WITH WALLS!" She yelled with glee. After she summed up the entire build in about 5 seconds it was off to the playroom. She walked in asked when her books would arrive then headed for the closets! Both Brenna and Geromi have decided that one of the long, large closets will make a perfect playhouse. So, now it seems the kids have themselves a 6x24 foot playhouse just off their playroom. We still get one side so we didnt loose all our storage and someday we will get the space back.
