Sophia turns 2!!!

Our Trudeau family baby turned 2! What a little doll she is...
We had a GREAT time at her swimming party. Brenna had some good Grandma time and Gage discovered his love of the diving board! It was a fast trip down but so worth it.
Happy Birthday Sophia! We love you!

Build a Bear Workshop...

The kids have been begging all summer to go to build a bear. Specifically Brenna but Gage wants what sis does so its a 2-fer. We set the date end of school and she patiently waited until the end of July when we had a free week. It was fun and the kids were both so sweet!

Happy 39 to Me...

So I woke up to my sweet family with flowers, cards and my new watch! The one with the bling just as I asked!

Brenna and Claire...

So, this is BFF #3. Brenna will tell you without pause that Ellie, Hallie and Claire are her BFF's. Claire lives in Section 2 of our neighborhood so having 2 out of 3 so close keeps Brenna very spoiled! Claire just put in a pool so this is the girls after a morning at Chocomania cooking camp at Central Market!

What a life!

2nd tooth gone...

***So Brenna was trying to help Gage open his stuck "Mac" truck from Cars WITH HER MOUTH when she ripped out her 2nd tooth! Poor girl it was barely even loose! So the tooth fairy was at the house twice in a week!

An email Geromi sent to Brenna after he saw her new toothless smile:

To Brenna
....my sugar bear, my girl, my lovebird, my tiger,
I just wanted to say I think your awesome and I'm proud of you for being a BIG BIG girl. You lost your second tooth and it scared you but you bounced back and you were so tough and acted liked a big girl. I love your picture Brenna and I wish I was there to tickle, wrestle and love on you all day. Have a very sweet day bc you're the sweetest girl ever.

*Always start in the center of the pool and have them swim to the stairs. Then rotate around and let them swim to all sides.

*Jumping...3 jumps to practice...

---Jump in and swim to you.

---Jump in and swim around you to the side (you have your back to the wall).

---Jump in, turn around and grab the wall.

*Float...hold from behind, release, count to 3 and then pick them up.

*Swim across, breathe in the middle. Assist them either by 1 arm, dont take your hands out of the water, or two fingers around there middle just enough so they pause to take a breath (listen for the breath).

NEVER let your child jump in without you counting to 3 or you loose control.

GREAT WEEK GAGE!!! What a lil fish we have now!!!

This is only day 1! Its 5 days, 15min each day. Wednesday is jump and swim day and Friday is teaching us parents the drills. Gage did fantastic. Not sure why I was so worried but he proved me wrong!!!

It was a great sun filled day! After a week of hurricane spin off rain it was nice to get out in the Texas heat again! We topped the evening off with a quickie dinner at Luvianos (think yummy ritas) and fireworks in Kyle (narrated by Gage). The 'works were 30 minutes of "thats a BIG one," "thats a BIG too!"

Great idea Geromi! We all had a blast!
