Gages Bday trip to the lake...

I was shocked to find Geromi and the kids fishing (they are on a boat ramp so no vests). We couldnt pry the pole out of Gages hand.

Awh, finally I get to hold my new baby girl cousin.

What a GREAT 2nd birthday despite almost being stuck at home. Hurricane Ike turned and we were off to Papa's house at the lake to celebrate. This trip Gage discovered his love for fishing and Brenna discovered her love for her new "baby girl cousin" Sophia! It was such a great time and it just went by too fast, as always!
Thanks to everyone for celebrating little mans birthday with us and for all the goodies!

From the first time daddy and I met you

we knew you were going to be something else!

I remember the admitting desk asking if we were there to deliver twins and we said no just one big ole boy! You screamed your way into the operating room weighing in right at 11 pounds and you have been nothing but 100% boy ever since!

We love you sweet boy. Through all the bumps and bruises, tears and kisses. You make our family complete.

Yes, it was about 97 degrees and the only air was the open window.

That is what you get when your 4 yr old princess picks out her accent wall color! She was drawn to the disney logo and it was downhill from there. We made a mommy daughter afternoon of it and for the most part I painted and she cheered me on. After it was all said and done she said "mommy, I think when I grow up I am going to stay a cooker (chef) and not a painter!"

We had a nice surprise today. We were told we were pouring next week but here it is! Next week is finish out on plumbing and clean up! Our old home is being inspected on Tues so cross your everything that all is well. The way Geromi upkeeps everything I doubt they will find anything, right honey?!?

So, when you look at the pics what do you think about #3??? Can you just see the kids racing down the hill and jumping thier bikes and skateboards off the end! I swear this drive was my childhood dream.

I may just have to take a trip down too!

First day of 4 yr old preschool...

Here is our little "monkey!" This is Brenna's 3rd year at her Baptist preschool. She was so excited to start again this year. This is her first day as a Monkey. She was a duck at 2, whale at 3 and now here we are. She marched right in and never looked back.
