Oh my YUM. This is SO easy to make and so dang good I can't stand it.
Ingredients:1 sleeve saltine crackers
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 package chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and line a cookie sheet with foil-mus have the raised sides. Spray with Pam, or grease VERY lightly with butter. Have a cute helper fill the cookie sheet with Saltines...

Bring the butter and brown sugar to a boil in a pan. Stir stir stir.

Pour mixture over saltines...

Put in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. It will get nice and bubbly.

When you take it out you may have to push the crackers back into place so there aren't any cracks-makes the next step easier.Sprinkle immediately with chocolate chips and give them some time to melt.

Then spread them evenly over the top.

Sprinkle with crushed pecans, or walnuts or whatever nuts you prefer. We skipped this step.
Next bust your little chef eating all the chocolate chips off the top of the treat!

Pop it into the fridge to cool and harden (about 30 minutes). When the chocolate is nice and hard crack it into bite size pieces.

Yummy!!!
